If you consider the Wild Cat Club as ‘Elementary School’ the Junior Snowsports Academy would be equivalent to ‘Secondary School’ – the High School of Snowsports! Elementary School introduced the fundamental skills that apply to Snowsports, in high school we will show the students how to blend these skills, applying each in varying degrees to become a more proficient skier or snowboarder. Students find that the Academy gives them the tools to not only become more adept in their own skiing or riding, but it also ignites an inner passion to help others become proficient Snowsports enthusiasts. This passion, along with their newly mastered skills drives many of the successful students to pursue opportunities of employment in the Snowsports industry.
We realize the cost of 'education' can be expensive and at the Wild Mountain Snowsports School we offer some discounts in an effort to keep a families costs as low as possible. A Family Discount is offered when two or more children are registered in any of the Youth Programs offered; this includes the Wild Cat Club, D-Team or Junior Snowsports Academy. This season we are also offering a Second Program Discount for students registered in a Junior Snowsports Academy Program and a D-Team Program. Be sure to check out our discounted Youth Season Pass when you sign up for a program, as well as our Season-long Rental Equipment. The take home rental equipment is great for kids who grow out of their gear each season - or sooner!

A unique program designed for young Snowsports enthusiasts interested in ‘exploring’ the all mountain adventure. The program will focus on skill development and building a solid foundation for a future in Snowsports. Developing skiers and snowboarders will tackle the mountain environment using the latest skiing and riding models, and along the way have fun interacting with kids of similar age and motivation. The eight week Junior Snowsports Explorers program begins in January.

Add a new dimension to your skiing or snowboarding. Are you the person friends seek out for help on the snow, whether learning new skills or how to make that first turn? You’ve always been a good skier or rider, but sometimes find it difficult to help others pick up new skills. The road to successful skiing and snowboarding starts with a solid foundation of basic skills and movements, and a good ‘coach’ works hard to master these basics to be able to help others. Using study guides, videos and on snow coaching our specially chosen instructors will guide you toward that mastery. Feed your passion as you fuel a passion in others!
