FULL TIME POSITIONS

Operations / Department Manager  (Full time, year round)

 

Department managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations of their department and to provide support to other departments.  Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility, not just one department. Although no experience in our industry is required, as we are willing to train the best candidate, guest service and / or management experience or education is required.  

 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Hiring, training, motivating and scheduling of seasonal team members, mostly comprised of high school and        college     students.
- Control of overall quality, guest service, cleanliness and organization of the departments you manage and support.
- Department startup and shutdown at the beginning and end of each season.
- Great guest service and interpersonal skills.

- Cash handling, counting, and making deposits.

- Assisting with all aspects of event setup, clean up, and take down.

- Valid Driver’s license with good record.

- Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays regularly.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds in each arm, repetitively and to lift and push 100 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work outside in the elements of Minnesota winters and summers.

Maintenance:  Full time / year 'round position - 

 

 

Maintenance personnel have a wide range of responsibility.  You will be working in your area of experience as well as learning new skills.  You must be willing to take on a wide variety of responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities include:  Maintenance and operations of vehicles, go-karts, 4-wheelers, snow cats, loaders, skidders, water slide pumps and equipment, chair lift and snow machines as well as general building and grounds maintenance.

 

Interested applicants must have some maintenance experience / background and be energetic, willing to take on a wide variety of responsibilities, be physically active and willing to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.

SEASONAL POSITIONS

TAYLORS FALLS CANOE AND KAYAK RENTALAll positions have been filled.

 

If you want to work outside, are positive and energetic, can work with the public face to face and want to get paid to get a work out, this is the opportunity for you.

 

Responsibilities included:  Ability to work outside in all conditions, greeting and checking in guests, completing rental agreements, cash handling, hauling, lifting, and loading canoes, kayaks, and equipment on and off trailers repetitively, and driving vehicles with trailers, ensuring the safety of guests and personnel by consistently following safety and operating procedures, maintaining cleanliness of facility and grounds, and performing opening and closing duties.

 

 

SHUTTLE BUS DRIVER(S) - Commercially licensed bus drivers with passenger endorsement.  Work 1-3 weekends per month with the possibility of some weekday shifts if so desired.

 

Responsibilities include: Providing guests with excellent guest service, safe shuttle service up the river, complete accurate vehicle inspection records and logs as required, and perform light duty vehicle maintenance.

 

 

WILD MOUNTAIN RIDE / ACTIVITY ATTENDANTS - Most positions have been filled.

 

Water slide, Big Country, Lazy River, Free Fall XP, Alpine Slide, Go-kart attendants, and Certified Life Guards.

 

Responsibilities include:  Ability to work outside in all conditions, provide excellent guest service, ensuring the safety of guests and personnel by consistently following safety and operating procedures, maintaining cleanliness of facility and grounds, and performing opening and closing duties.  Alpine Slide and Go-kart attendants must be able to lift alpine sleds, one in each arm repetitively, push and pull loaded go-karts regularly, and perform light go-kart maintenance.

 

 

WILD MOUNTAIN TICKET COUNTER - This is a position for the most positive, outgoing, energetic and personal person!

 

Responsibilities include:  Providing ultimate guest service, selling tickets and merchandise, checking in guests, selling season passes, assisting with group check-in, helping guests with lockers, video games, answering questions, assisting the sales and office team by answering phone calls and other administrative projects, maintaining cleanliness of building and grounds and completing opening and closing duties.

 

 

WILD MOUNTAIN GROUNDS / MAINTENANCE CREW - Building and grounds. All positions have been filled.

 

Responsibilities include:  Provide guest service as needed, cutting and trimming of grass with a push mower and use of other equipment, grounds clean up and maintenance,  set up, clean up, and take down of indoor and outdoor events, ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.

 

 

 

TAYLORS FALLS SCENIC BOAT TOURS- If you want to work with people and enjoy the St. Croix River are a positive and most energetic person, and can work with the public, this is an opportunity for you.

 

Responsibilities include:  Ability to work outside in all conditions, greet and check in guests, handle cash transactions, and drive vehicles with elderly and disabled guests, ensuring the safety of guests and personnel by consistently following safety and operating procedures, tying and untying the boats, helping with daily operations of the boats, cleaning and organizing the boats and boat stand, working the snack bar, ticket sales, and food service, maintaining cleanliness of the facility, grounds, and boats and performing opening and closing duties.
