FULL TIME - YEAR ROUND POSITIONS

Snowsports Director

This can be a year round or seasonal full time position providing you with the opportunity to work with a great team and for great guests.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching snowsports lessons, hiring, training, motivating and scheduling a diverse team of snowsport instructors, following and enforcing company and department policies and proceedures,control of the quality, guest service and organization of your department, seasonal startup and shutdown, monitor and evaluate existing snowsports programs while creating opportunities for new programs, assist in other departments as needed.  Ideal candidates must have the ability to communicate well verbally and in writing, have great guest service skills, and have the availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Reservation Staff/Group Sales

This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with great sales, guest service and administrative skills, pays close attention to detail, thrives in a team atmosphere, and can have fun at work.

As a part of the this team, a successful candidate will not only need to emphasize the many aspects of Group Sales for all of our winter and summer activities.  In addition someone with experience in Event Planning would be a plus.  You will also need to have the ability to answer a variety of phone calls, make reservations, and assist with general administrative duties.

For some, the greatest benefit in joining the Wild Mountain Team is the flexibility of your schedule.  Whether you're looking for 10 or 40 hours a week, "Wild" has the position for you.  (Length of season and number of hours are never guaranteed.)

 WINTER POSITIONS!

CHAIRLIFT, ROPE TOW, AND CONVEYOR OPERATORS -

All shifts available.  Work Monday - Friday Days, evenings, and / or weekends.  Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities include:

Exceeding guest expectations, ticket checking, safely loading and unloading guests, maintaining and recording conditions of the lift equipment and loading and unloading ramps, building and grounds clean up, and lift opening and closing duties.  Physical requirements include working outside in all winter weather conditions, constant pushing / pulling of 40-100# and repetitive wrist and hand movements, bending, squatting, and standing.

SKI AND SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTORS FOR THE 2016-17 SEASON

Responsibilities include:

Great customer service, intermediate to advanced skiing or snowboarding skills, positive attitude, outgoing and friendly, and work well independently and with a team.  You must always maintain a professional public image.  Instructors must be accessible ambassadors for Wild Mountain.  Instructors only need to commit to one shift per week.  No PSIA, AASI, or other teaching certification is necessary but is certainly welcome.  A two-three day training session for new instructors is provided for all new-hires, and weekly on-snow clinics are available to interested instructors throughout the season.  This is a paid position.

The Wild Mountain Patrol is currently looking for experienced skiers and snowboarders to join our staff of over 100+ volunteer Patrollers. Our Patrollers receive training in advanced first aid (outdoor emergency care) and rescue skills.
