We are NOW HIRING for fall and winter positions! 



Do you want to be a Ski or Snowboard Instructor? If you love to ski or snowboard and enjoy helping others learn new skills on the slopes, this may be the winter job you've been looking for! Our flexible hours make it easy to teach while also going to school or maintaining your full time job. If you are interested in joining our Snowsports Team, please complete an application (bottom of the page) and send it to the attention of Mark Dunsworth, Snowsports Director by October 31, 2015.

Responsibilities Include: Great customer service, intermediate to advanced skiing or snowboarding skills, positive attitude, outgoing and friendly, and work well independently and with a team. You must always maintain a professional public image. Instructors must be accessible ambassadors for Wild Mountain. Only need to commit to one shift per week. No PSIA, AASI or other teaching certification necessary. A 2-3 day training session for new instructors is provided for all new-hires, and weekly on-snow clinics are available to instructors throughout the season. This is a paid position.

MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT / SNOW MAKING- Typical shifts will be 7:30-5:30 four days / week with 12 hour days during snow making season.  Starting wage $10.00 - $14.00 / hr.

Responsibilities include:  Snow Making and general building, grounds, and equipment maintenance and operation. 

 CHAIRLIFT, ROPE TOW, AND CONVEYOR OPERATORS - We are now hiring all shift including Monday - Friday days, all evenings, and weekends.  All applicants must be 16 years of age or older.  


Responsibilities include:  Exceeding guest expectations, ticket checking, safely loading and unloading guests, maintaining and recording conditions of the lift equipment and loading and unloading ramps, building and grounds cleanup, and lift opening and closing duties.

 FOOD AND BEVERAGE POSITIONS - All shifts available in a variety of positions including cafeteria, snack bar, chalet cleanup and in the Eagles Nest Bar and Grill.  

Responsibilities include:  Depending on position you are hired for, responsibilities will include ringing guest orders in the point of sale system, collecting payments, cooking, cleaning, stocking, and organizing, food preparation, exceeding guest expectations and bar tending.

TICKET COUNTER -  This position is for the most positive, outgoing, energetic and personable team member who says they can sell!


Responsibilities include: Ultimate guest service, selling tickets, shop items, lessons, and season passes, assist with group check-in, helping guests with concerns, questions, locker and video game solutions, assisting the sales team with answering phones and other administrative office projects, chalet and facility organization, stocking, and clean up, and completing opening and closing duties.

RENTAL SHOP TECHNICIANS -  Flexible evening and weekend shifts are still available for those that are responsible, have a good attention to detail, like a fast paced environment and can talk it up with the guests.

Responsibilities include: Great guest service, binding release calculation and adjustment, ski, snowboard, and boot sizing and rental, light cashiering and department and chalet clean up, stocking and organization and opening and closing duties as applicable.  No previous experience or certification is necessary as we will train and certify you!

EQUIPMENT CORRAL-  Two positions are up for grab for the best candidates 14 or 15 years old.  You must be available most weekend throughout the season.  If you are eager to get in the door, learn about the business, and get that season pass, this may be your spot.  The ideal candidate must be good with numbers, have good attention to detail, responsible, able to work independently and with a team, have a positive attitude and be able to talk openly and confidently with the public.

Responsibilities include: Overall Guest Service, accepting and returning guests' equipment safely and accurately, clean up, organization, and stocking of your department, grounds, and chalet, following opening and closing check lists, and problem solving.

The Wild Mountain Ski Patrol is currently looking for experienced skiers and snowboarders to join our staff of over 100 volunteer Patrollers. Our Patrollers receive training in advanced first aid (outdoor emergency care) and rescue skills. The on-the-snow training season kicks off with an informational meeting on Saturday, December 5 at 9:00am in the Wild Mountain Ski Patrol Lounge (located between the Chalet and Maintenance building).
