For some, the greatest benefit in joining the Wild Mountain Team is the flexibility of your schedule.  Whether you're looking for 10 or 40 hours a week, "Wild" has the position for you.  (Length of season and number of hours are never guaranteed.)

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SUMMER POSITIONS

Although, limited positions are available, we are still accepting applications for all summer positions including Waterpark, Alpine Slide, and Go-Kart Attendants (no certification required), Certified Lifeguards, Ticket Counter, Food Service and Catering, Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours, Taylors Falls Canoe and Kayak Rental, and Wildwood RV Park and Campground.

WATERPARK, ALPINE SLIDE AND GO-KART ATTENDANTS

Rotate throughout the Waterpark and / or Dry Rides through our many positions including Water Slides, Big Country, Lazy River and Wild Adventure Island, Free Fall XP, Alpine Slides, and Go-Karts.  You do not need to be a lifeguard to work in the waterpark, but we also have positions available for lifeguards already certified!

RESPONSIBILITIES include working outside in a variety of Minnesota summer weather conditions, providing excellent guest service, ensuring the safety of guests and personnel, consistently enforcing and following safety and operating procedures, maintaining cleanliness of facility and grounds, and performing opening and closing duties as scheduled.  Alpine Slide and Go-karts responsibilities also include the ability to lift alpine sleds, one in each arm repetitively, pushing and pulling loaded go-karts, and performing light repair and maintenance of grounds, sleds, and go-karts.

FOOD SERVICE AND CATERING

 Here you can work your way through a variety of positions in the Wild Mountain Cafeteria or Snack Shack, catering of weddings, catering aboard the Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours boats and  outdoor company picnics and weddings.

RESPONSIBILITIES depend on what you are hired for but may include exceeding guest service expectations, ringing in orders on the point of sale system, collecting payments, bartending, cooking, food preparation, cleaning, stocking, and organizing and performing opening and closing duties.

WILD MOUNTAIN TICKET COUNTER

This position is for the most positive, outgoing, energetic,and intelligent!  

RESPONSIBILITIES include exceeding guests service expectations, selling tickets and merchandise, checking in guests, selling season passes, assisting with group check-in helping guests with lockers, video games, answering questions, assisting the sales and office team by answering phone calls and other administrative projects, maintaining cleanliness of building and grounds and completing opening and closing duties as assigned.

TAYLORS FALLS CANOE AND KAYAK RENTAL

If you want to work outside, are positive and energetic, and want to get paid to work out, this is a great place to start!  

RESPONSIBILITIES include the ability to work outside in all Minnesota weather conditions, greeting and checking in guests, completing rental agreements, cash handling, hauling, lifting, and loading and unloading canoes, kayaks, and other equipment from trailers repetitively and driving vehicles with trailers, ensuring the safety of guests and personnel by consistently enforcing and following safety and operating procedures, maintaining cleanliness of facility and grounds, and performing opening and closing duties.  To work here, applicants must have a clean driving record.

CANOE GUEST SHUTTLE DRIVERS

Commercially licensed bus drivers with passenger endorsement.  Options available to work 1-4 weekends or weekend days per month with the possibility to add some weekdays is desired.  

RESPONSIBILITIES include exceeding guests service expectations, safe shuttle service up the river, complete accurate vehicle inspection records and logs as required, perform light duty vehicle general maintenance and cleanliness.

Rate of pay is $12-$14.00 per hour + tips, and activity privileges for you and your family at all of our recreation facilities.

WILDWOOD CAMPGROUND

This is an all encompassing position performing all tasks in the campground.

RESPONSIBILITIES include exceeding guest service expectations, checking guests in for their stay, selling activity tickets, store merchandise, and food, cleaning of all areas of the facility including the guest center, pool and pool area, buildings, grounds, bathrooms and showers, ensuring the safety of guests and team members alike by enforcing and following safety and operating procedures, and performing opening and closing duties as assigned.

The Wild Mountain Patrol is currently looking for experienced skiers and snowboarders to join our staff of over 100+ volunteer Patrollers. Our Patrollers receive training in advanced first aid (outdoor emergency care) and rescue skills.
