We teamed up with Pollinator Friendly Alliance to help create a turtle nesting site near Big Marine Lake.  This site is particularily imporant since it is one of four known nesting areas of the endangered Blanding's Turtle.

The site is located on top of a hill (which turtles prefer) complete with an electric fence to keep out egg-loving critters.

A stretch of road near near Big Marine Lake had hundreds of turtles being killed annually. Washington County put up turtle fencing to direct the turtles to a culvert for them to safely cross the road. Our team came out to repair and rebuild the fencing to ensure turtles could continue to cross safely for years to come.

We got our hands dirty with Pollinator Friendly Alliance at Pine Point Park in Washington County. This location was reestabilishing a native prairie. We helped install plant plugs across a half-acre parcel.

The Wildcat Woods got a lift from a Wild Mountain team member and the North Branch Disc Golf Club. The crew did a cleanup to remove trees, brush and improve the walking paths at this disc golf course near Lindstrom.

Green River Greening needed a hand building a a tree nursery. Its purpose was for restoring native dogwoods onto an island in North Center Lake near Lindstrom. The saplings will begin their life in this protected location prior to being returned to their native habitat.   

Our team helped with a spring cleaning at Franconia Sculpture Park. Additionally, our team worked to create cob bricks for one of their art installations.
