Shaka Brah Big Air & BBQ is back for year 3!

Spring vibes, terrain park brotherhood and smoky bar-b-que is returning to the slopes of Wild Mountain on Saturday, April 11.

We’ve teamed up with Red Bull to host this sunny big air comp for midwestern rippers ages 14+.

New for 2026, we'll be giving away $3000 in a "cash for tricks" format instead of a winner-take-all format we had in the past.

Plus, Red Bull will be crowing 4 additional champs in their Jib Jam series for those who cross our icy pond feature.

Registration for the event is just $10 which includes your ticket and competition entrance.

Don't want to compete? No problem. We've got a public section of the terrain park open for people who just want to watch, ride for fun and enjoy the last slide of the spring. A ticket to ride (without competing) is just $5 and open to all ages.

Please note, this is a special event and Season Passes and X3 Cards are not valid on this day.

• 10:30am to 11:30am: Lift ticket & Bib pickup in Base Lodge
• 11am: Competition venue and public park opens
• 12pm: Competition Begins
• 1:30pm: Jib Jam on Pond Feature Begins
• 2pm to 3pm: Park open to public riding
• 3pm: Park Closes
